This is being used on a MacBook Pro. Since I'm using a laptop, the ease of a mouse is very comforting. The mouse was easy and simple to setup.
The mouse moves effortlessly over the hard surface you are using; there is no dragging or pulling.
The ergonomics of the mouse are very comfortable in my hand. It is just the right size for me.

Logitech Performance Mouse MXSeptember 19, 2009 Michael Kridel(Boca Raton, FL USA) This is undoubtedly the smoothest pointing device I have ever used. The software is not dramatically different from previous iterations, but the options are comprehensive.
It is definitely on the large side of mice, but still comfortable to use over long sessions.
The cursor tracking is phenomenonally fast, smooth and accurate. The physical sensation is greatly enhanced by the device's very smooth surface and the three additional pads of different material than the mouse itself.
On glass, NOTHING beats this mouse. I might have to buy the smaller one for travel because so many hotels have glass tops on the desks in rooms.
Setup is very easy and fairly quick. The different cables that come with it are a bit confusing at first and I've had to label them so I don't have to remember the differences.
Overall, this mouse is a keeper. I am delighted to add it to my tools and have already designated it as the replacement for my office box.
