Can't imagine a better picture than thisApril 3, 2010 B. Queman(Illinois) The picture is, in a word phenomenal. I saw a video review (CNET, I think ) in which they were tepid in their praise, but from what I see, this is a first class LCD. Very good blacks, and very bright colors. It has Multiple HDMI inputs, composite color (which is what I use since my cable box does not have HDMI), an SD card slot, and an IPOD dock, which I probably won't be using. It does not have one of those netflix -capable inputs, but if I get downloadable Netflix, I'll just buy the box.
Saw a PIXAR movie on it, and I was delighted, ditto the IMAX Under The Sea. Non HD looks great too.
So yeah, very satisfied with this item!
EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTEDApril 3, 2010 RUTH LEWIS(Noo Joisey) Although this model was not as highly rated as some others by Consumers Reports, we decided to buy it because of our wonderful experience with our 2 year old Panasonic 50" model, and the fact that it plays SD memory cards from our digital camera. All you have to do is insert the card into the slot and voila! it plays on the screen.Since we were limited in size due to the constraints of a built-in wall unit, we could only fit in a 26" set, which is the smallest available and not offered by all manufacturers. There was some hesitancy about ordering such an expensive and fragile item through an online seller. Amazon came through with flying colors. NOt only was it received in about 3 days but the delivery guy even brought it right into the house for us!
All in all the whole experience rates 5+ stars!
26" panasonic vieraApril 3, 2010 senora sg We bought this tv for the bedroom. It's a good size and has a good picture. Sound ijust ok. The design of the remote is not intuitive; also, it is difficult to see in the dark. All in all, the panasonic is a good buy for this use.
Great priceApril 3, 2010 Gerald Branson The 26 inch Panasonic is a very good buy. I check around many stores and could not find a t.v. with these features and picture quality. It is a perfect t.v. for the bedroom not to large but just the right size. The picture quality is very good and the sound is good for a set of this size. Remote is easy to read and not confusing. Overall for the price the Panasonic is most certainly very good unit.
Best for the priceApril 2, 2010 Gordo(Florida) Great TV for the price. Perfect for a bedroom. Panasonic did an excellent job on this one. This is the 4th HDTV I have bought. Great picture good sound and easy set up. For those who don't read the specs there is only one audio output that is optical digital so if you do not have the equipment to interface with it don't buy this one. If you do don't complain after purchasing this unit. By the way, there are adapters to convert the output if you really want to connect to RCA input jacks. The only problem I see is wall mounting. I will have craft an adapter to fit the wall mount bracket I bought. Not a real problem but it will involve some work. Buy this TV!! I would buy another in a heart beat
