Customer Reviews:
Great Price and Quality September 3, 2010 Brent Berman (Michigan) I don't know if I would consider myself a "Power Home Theater user" but I know that wasting $100 on an HDMI cable is not going to turn your HDTV into a 3D movie theater!
That said, these HDMI cables are the best value for the money, I'm watching Blu-ray and streaming from my computer in FULL HD. Picture and sound are great. I'm a happy man!
Works Well! September 2, 2010 D. Klobe (Tempe, AZ) Trust the reviews! Ordered it, connected it, Works Well! Great buy for the money! Do not listen to the store salespeople!
Good cable, good price. September 2, 2010 G. Valdez (DFW, TX) Does what all the other more expensive HDMI cables do, tranmists audio and video, only at a fraction of the price. There's is no need to go to a brick & mortar store and get fleeced at $40,$60,$100+ for an HDMI cable when these cables get the job done for just $7. This is my second cable that I've ordered and have been pleased with both. Cable worked great out of the box for all my components; satellite receiver, Xbox 360, PS3(Blu-Ray). There's no frills here, the pictures in the description show exactly what you get..plain box, cable, warranty card, and that's all you need. Cable even arrived earlier than estimated date, so thanks Amazon!
Works on Sharp Aquos! September 1, 2010 Postmoderna (New York, New York) This HDMI cable was literally plug and go for both the image and the sound.
I had read reviews elsewhere with other HDMI cords that although the HDMI cable transmits the image automatically for some TVs, you then have to set up the sound by way of following your TV's user manual HDMI settings.
Not an issue here! I plugged one end into my HDMI port on my Sharp Aquos and I plugged the other into my Sony Vaio FW.
I selected the mode which correlates to the HDMI port, and both the sound and image came on right away.
Image and sound were great for streaming movies and internet pages from the laptop at home.
If you purchase high speed HDMI cables at Best Buy or Radio Shack, the starting price is $40-$50.
For home usage, this works just fine without having to pay alot.
