CHEAP INSURANCEApril 8, 2010 JAH7440 :) I INSTALLED AND REPAIRED HIGH END COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT FOR A MAJOR COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY FOR 30 YEARS.I LEARNED THAT NO MATTER WHO THE VENDOR OF THAT EQUIPMENT WAS IT HAD A POTENTIAL OF FAILING.DUE TO THAT EXPERIENCE I ALWAYS PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON MY MAJOR ELECTRONICS PURCHASES.IN THIS CASE AFTER REVIEWING THE COMMENTS OF OTHER PURCHASERS OF THE SQUARETRADE WARRANTY I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM A TRY.THE EASE OF GETTING A QUOTE AND BEING ABLE TO DO IT ONLINE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO HASSLE WAS A PLUS.ALSO THEY WILL KEEP A COPY OF THE INVOICE OF THE ELECTRONIC ITEM YOU PURCHASED IN THEIR DATA BASE IN ORDER TO EXPEDIATE A CLAIM SHOULD YOU HAVE ONE.TO DATE I HAVE NOT MADE A CLAIM SO CANNOT GIVE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE ON THAT.I LOOK AT THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY AS CHEAP INSURANCE FOR AN EXPENSIVE ELECTRONEC PURCHASE I MADE AND TRULY HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO USE IT!ALSO NOTE YOU CAN BUY FROM MOST ANY VENDOR YOU LIKE AND STILL GET A EXTENDED WARRANTY IF THE ITEM YOU PURCHASED QUALIFIES.I MY SELF BOUGHT ANOTHER MAJOR ELICTRONIC ITEM FROM A VENDOR OTHER THAN AMAZON OR E-BAY AND WAS ABLE TO GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY THROUGH SQUARETRADE.AGAIN THIS IS CHEAP INSURANCE WELL WORTH THE PRICE FOR PEACE OF MIND! :)

I bought a used Samsung LN 46A630 from an ebay seller and thought a warranty would be in order, this was my first shot at a used tv and it worked well for about ten months before it started having problems powering up, After doing some research I found out some samsungs have sub standard power supply, I contacted Square trade and was asked to explain the problem in detail which I did, I was exspecting a long protracted battle after all the set was used and lcd,s are hard if not impossible to fix. I was contacted by E mail the next day asking me to sign a form as to the truth of my claim and also telling me my full purchase price would be given to me via paypal, Two days after I faxed the form to them the money was in paypal!!! with a thank you email for using Square Trade..THIS IS BEST MONEY I HAVE SPENT ON EBAY.. If you buy anything that you think may need a warranty Go with Square Trade you wont be sorry....

I had a clain on a year old LCD TV it went bad the color went out and a red line ran up the screen,I had it checkedand it was shot, I called Square Trade ,didn't know what to expect since the exrended warranties I took out with other companies were a real hasel well ,was I surprised They were so nice and quick to take care of my claim, after a few minutes they said they would give me the purshase price of the TV back and for me to dispose of the other TV ,I couldn't belive how easy it was and how nice they were about it,I have several things with their warrenty on them, and now I am so glad I took them ,and as soon as I am finished here I am getting a warranty on the new TV I just got .You can't go wrong with Square Trade You do them right and they will take care of you. I had purchased a preowned 50" Panasonic Plasma TV, and had also bought a Square Trade warranty. Well, the TV failed about three months after the purchase, so ST said that since the repair cost was going to be extremely high that they would just refund the cost of the set. I received the refund within one day through my PayPal account. Thanks Square Trade!
Thank Goodness I had Squaretrade!!!January 6, 2010 Latoya Godette(Silver Spring, MD) My 50 inch plasma went black on me!! I had no clue what to due. Square Trade completely refunded my money back and told me to go buy a new TV!!! I will never buy any major electronics without puting a square trade policy on it!!
